Happy travelling anywhere... you just need to catch him first !
A very short day today as I plan to wake up early tomorrow to beat the heat. Its tough on Ditch during the afternoon, even with a brolly.
The town I stayed in last night was pretty new. A whole area of back streets with no one in them.
Saw these guys on there way to work.... having a few beers to get in the mood.. You know how it is?
As we pottered along the road a witch came shooting in from the right.
She landed quickly and sprinted off into the bushes to go to the toilet. When you've gotta go, you've gotta go. Not even a magic spell can help.
The road continued
Bit of train action

Wood chippings. Everso Nice
That was just a warm up.....
.....and for todays readers interactive feature. A Psychology test !
This test has been approved by the Ottery St Mary Society for the mentally unstable.
Relax your eyes and stare at the wood chippings in the following image. ......What do you see ?
Do you see a naked woman, do you see faces of animals, perhaps fishes or even a man carrying a flaming barrel. Write it down quickly and post a comment. I will then reveal to you your current state of mind.
If you want to support Chinawheelie then please make a donation.
Even the smallest amount will help children in China.

PS
The committee, recognise the brave and wonderful effort you are doing, as a respected and fully certified member, the reference to 'train spotters' which we have 3 current members permanently at Ottery station, has been warmly welcomed.
Members listening and watching (some of them can read as well, but most just dribble) also recognise that under paragraph 4 sub section 3 Headed 'Bikes do talk' are glad to hear little wheelies comments, however as you know there is much controversy over sub section 4 of the same paragraph "gay bike rights" to which the committee will be listening to your comments with great interest at the AGM on your safe return.
Finally as you know its a busy period in our calendar recruiting new members for barrel rolling, we will be passing a hat around for a collection, assuming that we can find a hat that doesn't mind being passed

May I present our guest speaker for this evening. He will be discussing the competition to date.
Vice President speaks -
Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen. I speak now on behalf of Our Great President, as He is currently very busy polishing.
As you may or may not know, the 'Wood Chipping Test' has been the Corner Stone to our Society for over 700 years. It is has proven itself correct time and time again.
Being a specialist in this field I shall now give you some feed back on your observations.
Unfortunately none of you spotted the peaceful country cottage in the forest. To the right is a small boy with a cross bow, aiming at the flat fish that is about to be eaten by a whale, but may be rescued by a sneaky attack by the fishes friend. To the right is a warrior from ancient Rome who is angry and frustrated with the string stuck in his helmet. His warrior type fingers are just not delicate enough to remove it.
And the real clincher, one that most people miss, is the ant wrestling with an invisible banana.
So.... according to the official rules of the Ottery St Mary Society for the mentally unstable...
You have all failed the test. Therefore none of you may be accepted into the society.
Except of course for our Dear Chairman. I did hear on the grape vine ( bottom left of picture ) that he will be retiring soon due to frequent bouts of stability..... But since it was the Chairman himself pretending to be the grapes, I feel these rumors are completely unfounded.
Next month there shall be another chance to gain exclusive membership. So don't panic.

Hi Rob,
what a lovely animal, Ditch. I am a sucker for pet videos so it was perfect for me. He reminded me of my dog when he was small, a classic Chinese mongrel. He will hopefully keep you company. What a creative way to make a crate for a puppy. What a combination, Ditch & Rob or is it Rob & Ditch? Take care both of you. Hope to hear from you soon. Please take more pet videos. Love the photos of Ditch popping his head out of the crate.
